Just as a birth certificate or driver’s license provides information about you–e.g., who you are and when particular events in your life took place—business records provide information about a business, including what a business has done with its resources and opportunities. Unfortunately, though, business records are often overlooked in the classroom. Change all that by helping your students understand the importance of business records and why businesses need them to survive.
